The course selects and organizes the content closely around the tasks that need to be completed in the current tourism job, highlights the connection between work tasks and knowledge, and enhances the correlation between the course content and the vocational post ability requirements. This course is divided into seven chapters: Chapter 1 Airport English, Chapter 2 Hotel English, Chapter 3 Service during the tour, Chapter 4 traditional Chinese culture, Chapter 5 Traditional Chinese thoughts, Chapter 6 Introduction to scenic spots, and Chapter 7 International culture and etiquette. Through this course, students will be able to understand the language characteristics and application skills of tourism English, strengthen the language application ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing in the tourism working environment, so that students can master the basic professional English ability required for foreign-related tourism work, and can correctly recognize and understand the social etiquette and habits of different cultural backgrounds and nationalities, and communicate and solve problems in english more effectively. At the same time, cultivate students' international-mindedness to understand the culture and etiquette of different countries with an open mind.
