Hospitality English is a professional English course for MTA students. It is specifically designed for learners to improve their English ability of speaking, reading and writing, and more importantly, use the language as a tool to communicate and do academic research concerned with hospitality and tourism.
There are six chapters for this course, including the Nature of Tourism Businesses, Meet and Greet, Cross-cultural Communication in Hospitality, Techniques to Understand Tourism Literature, Literature Review & Analysis and Essentials in Completing MTA Thesis.
After their study, learners are expected to be able to understand the composition and nature of the industry, master the communication skills and etiquette, obtain the effective methods of reading and in-depth thinking of tourism, learn the methods of literature collection and analysis and requirements of English writing of practical papers and projects.
