This course gives you an overview of what is hypertension and role of Yoga in reducing the blood pressure through reducing stress. Yoga is an effective adjunct therapy in hypertensive populations. This session also covers the prevalence, incidence, pathophysiology, stress, basic concept of yoga in understanding the disease process, mechanism of actions of yoga and techniques of yoga specifically for hypertensive patients. We will also cover evidence based studies on Yoga and hypertension.

o Module 18: Breathing Practices Ⅱ (Tiger breathing, Rabbit breathing, Bhujangasana Breathing)

o Module 19: Breathing Practices Ⅲ (Straight leg raise breathing, Sethubandhasana Lumbar stretch, Side bending)
