This course gives you an overview of what is concentration and role of Yoga in enhancing concentration towards overall personality development. The main processes involved in concentration are attention, perception, cognition, and response. The mind-body response of concentration moves from Chanchalata (distraction), Ekagrata (Concentration), Dharana (Intense focusing) and Dhyana (meditation). The eastern and western perspectives of concentration will be discussed in the course. Integrated approach of yoga practices for concentration will be presented. We will also cover scientific studies on Yoga and concentration
