Overview

"Preliminary Design Aesthetics" is a national backbone major, a pilot major of the modern apprenticeship system of the Ministry of Education, and a core major of Chongqing's double-high professional group - architectural interior design, as well as a general course of aesthetic education for social learners. The course refers to the national vocational and professional teaching standards, the needs of interior designer positions (groups), connects with the training objectives and curriculum standards of interior professionals, cultivates students' design professional skills and aesthetic literacy, as well as rigorous professional attitude, good sense of collaboration and independent learning ability, and lays the foundation for the follow-up "Furniture Design and Soft Decoration Matching" and "Residential Interior Design". The course content includes 3 topics, 7 projects, and 37 tasks. Topic 1, a preliminary study on the composition of "laying a foundation for beauty", including the basic knowledge of two-dimensional, color and three-dimensional composition; Topic 2, "Diversified Beauty" composition design, including the comprehensive application of two-dimensional composition and spatial color composition; Topic 3, "Ancient is the Beauty of the Present", including the reconstruction of Chinese color composition and the reconstruction of intangible cultural heritage.
