Petroleum product analysis refers to the test process of analyzing and testing the physical and chemical properties and service performance of petroleum products by using uniformly prescribed or recognized test methods. Oil analysis course is based on chemical analysis, instrumental analysis and petroleum refining engineering. It is a course which mainly consists of crude oil analysis, raw material analysis, and control analysis and product inspection in petroleum refining. Its courses are mainly experiments. It focuses on training students to master the skills of conventional analytical instruments in the analysis of petroleum products, to master the processing methods of test errors and data, and to master the simple fault handling methods of conventional analytical instruments. Highlighting the principles of "reality", "practical" and "practical" is emphasized. The theoretical knowledge is based on "necessary" and "moderate sufficiency". The teaching contents and experimental items are typical, comprehensive and selective. It highlights the application features and competency-based approach, and demonstrates the general thinking of learning petroleum product analysis, i. e. the significance of index evaluation, evaluation methods, influencing factors and application of test methods. It is beneficial to train students' cultivate students' ability to combine theory with practice, analyze and solve problems, and self-study ability, to promote the achievement of professional training goal, and to lay a foundation for students to enter the post smoothly in the future.
