Overview

"Introduction to the Psychological Development of Preschool Children" is a professional core course of higher vocational preschool education, which studies the laws and characteristics of psychological development of preschool children aged 0-6 and 7, and its main task is to help students take shape.The scientific concept of children cultivates students' professional ability to use the theories and knowledge of preschool children's psychological development to solve practical problems in education and teaching, and lays a solid subject foundation for subsequent professional theoretical courses (such as preschool education, etc.) and professional core courses (such as preschool children's science education, preschool children's language education, preschool children's music education, etc.). This course is offered in the second semester of the first year and is aimed at all students working in preschool education.

This course is mainly based on preschool education programmatic documents such as "Kindergarten Education Guidelines (Trial)", "3~6 Years Old Children's Learning and Development Guide", "Professional Standards for Kindergarten Teachers", "Teacher Education Curriculum Standards", "Preschool Teacher Qualification Examination Standards" and other preschool education programmatic documents, combined with the training goals and graduation requirements of preschool education professionals in our school,guided by the needs of the post, the teaching content of output-oriented and practice-oriented higher vocational college courses is constructed. The curriculum system consists of five modules and fifteen chapters, which are an overview of preschool children's psychological development (overview of psychological development, influencing factors and basic theories of preschool children's psychological development), preschool children's age characteristics (age characteristics of infancy, preschool age characteristics, and early childhood age characteristics), preschool children's cognitive development (preschool children's perception development, preschool children's attention development, preschool children's memory development, preschool children's imagination development, preschool children's thinking development, preschool children's speech development), Preschool psychology in communication (emotional development of preschool children, development of personality of preschool children, social development of preschool children) and preschool psychology in activities.
