This course is the first professional core course of preschool education major (group), the starting point of the training of preschool education professional (group) skilled talents, and is a preschool teacher qualification certificate, national 1+x early childhood care vocational skill certificate, preschool education, early education professional security skills competition integration course. At present, the course consists of two major knowledge systems (preschool education basis + care knowledge and skills), four modules (physical and mental development and evaluation of preschool children, nutrition and diet of preschool children, common health care knowledge and skills of preschool children, collective child health care), and nine project units (physiological characteristics and health care of preschool children + growth and development and evaluation, basic knowledge of nutrition +). In 2011, "Preschool Children's Hygiene and Health" was recognized as a school-level excellent course.
