Course Background:This course is designed in accordance with the objectives and teaching outline for Dance majors, focusing on the knowledge structure and levels required for undergraduate students in the field of dance. It centers on Chinese folk dance culture, covering foundational theories and cultural forms of folk dance, protection and inheritance of folk dance culture, and the cultural forms and artistic characteristics of Yunnan folk dance.
The course aims to equip students with a solid understanding of Chinese folk dance culture, train their theoretical analysis and critical thinking skills, and gradually enable them to apply theoretical knowledge in practical contexts. Basic Connotations of Chinese Folk Dance Culture: This includes content such as the cultural and humanistic characteristics, historical evolution, exploration methods, classification types, protection, inheritance, and innovation of Chinese folk dance culture.
Yunnan Ethnic Dance Culture: This part covers the historical trajectory of Yunnan ethnic dance, archaeological and living cultural contexts, and the cultural features and artistic characteristics of various ethnic dances in Yunnan. Students will gain knowledge of Yunnan's ethnic and regional dance culture through specific field cases and theoretical guidance.
