Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing is an important component of nursing, a professional skill course for nursing majors, and an expansion course for professional knowledge and skills of traditional Chinese medicine; Under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine theory, it is a comprehensive discipline that applies the concept of holistic concept, dialectical nursing methods, traditional nursing techniques, and guides clinical nursing, prevention, health preservation, health care, and rehabilitation. It is a cross integration of natural science and social science.
Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing is a nursing course with traditional Chinese medicine characteristics. The teaching content involves basic knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine nursing and clinical nursing of traditional Chinese medicine, covering the theory and practice of traditional Chinese medicine nursing, general principles and specific applications. It specifically includes: an overview of the development of traditional Chinese medicine nursing, basic characteristics and philosophical ideas of traditional Chinese medicine nursing Traditional Chinese medicine nursing skills (such as daily living care, dietary care, emotional care, medication care, and traditional Chinese medicine nursing techniques) and the four major modules of traditional Chinese medicine nursing for common diseases. Since the establishment of the nursing major in our school, the course has mainly been aimed at nursing students and serves as a supplementary course for relevant majors and clinical continuing education learners.
At present, this course has constructed a teaching resource library that includes teaching videos, exercises, and other resources. The aim is to build an online open course that serves university teachers and students as the main body, while also facing society, to cultivate nursing professionals in vocational colleges, secondary schools, and short-term skills. Enable learners to master knowledge and skills in traditional Chinese medicine health care, traditional Chinese medicine medication nursing, and traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation treatment and nursing, broaden students' knowledge field of specialized nursing, and enhance their specialized nursing abilities.
