《推拿治疗学》是建立在中医基础理论和中医经络理论基础之上，将推拿手法和现代中医药理论紧密结合的学科。《推拿治疗学》是一门理论和实践并重，重点教授理论知识在临床实践中运用方法的课程，也是中医基础教学和中医临床教学转换过程中的桥梁课程。通过本课程的学习，你可以学习内、妇、儿、骨伤科常见疾病的推拿治疗治疗方法，加深中医理论在医学实践中的运用能力，锻炼推拿手法的操作技巧，为今后的临床、教学和科研奠定基础。
这门课程总共42学时，分成理论学习和实践学习两部分。理论学习由总论和各论组成，总论主要讲授推拿的治疗作用、作用原理，治疗原则、临床诊疗特点；推拿手法的组合原则，配穴方法；特定穴、特殊手法的使用规律。各论主要讲授内、外、妇、儿各科常见病症的推拿治疗原则、处方拟定和操作。总论为纲（推拿辨证论治的思想和策略），各论围绕总论展开（中医思想在临床实践中的具体运用）。实践学习时推拿治疗学的特色，包括理论实践和操作实践两部分理论实践的形式以案例式教学为主，即给出一个案例，通过生动的模拟看病过程训练学生的临床思辨能力。操作实践主要是训练推拿治疗的规范化操作和手法的实际运用能力，最终达到要求学生达到组方合理、取穴准确、操作熟练等目标。
本课程的考核由形成性评价、理论考核、操作考核三方面组成。形成性评价注重平时练习，如平时学习情况，CBL课程中的参与度、实际表现，案例分析的能力和反馈等，占 30％；理论考核重点是推拿总论与各论的内容，如面对各科具体病症时，推拿处方的合理制定、经络辨证在处方中的应用及其体现，占40％；操作考核重点是推拿手法操作的规范性、准确性、操作的熟练性，占30％。
《推拿治疗学》是前期理论课程和后期临床实践的桥梁课程，比较注重临床诊疗思维的训练和治疗策略的拟定，希望各位同学通过本课程的学习后，能够合理运用经络腧穴、推拿手法学等理论知识制定出常见病的推拿治疗策略以及操作的全部过程，为之后的临床见习和实习奠定基础；为今后从事推拿教育、临床科研做好准备。
