Overview

本课程由华南理工大学“大学英语国家级教学团队”骨干教师精心打造,带你踏入学术英语的大门。该课程基于《新时代大学学术英语》系列教材(上海外语教育出版社),将学术英语的听、说、读、写、译等技能有机融合起来,教授各学科专业学习和研究所需要的通用学术英语,旨在培养学生用英语进行学业学习、学术交流的能力和学术素养;同时拓展其国际视野,提升跨文化交流沟通和合作的能力以及参与国际竞争的能力。本课程共分为听、说、读、写、译个五大主题,学习时间为8周,教授学生如何听懂学术讲座,如何快速、有效地阅读英文专业文献;如何提升学术写作能力,使用国际通用的学术论文风格,遵循学术写作规则,避免学术抄袭;外教还组织学生示范如何有效参与小组讨论、如何进行课堂演示,如何获取信息和陈述观点。本课程将加强和拓展学习者的学术英语运用能力,奠定事业基础,并提升学习者的自信。
