Overview

Course Introduction:

This course is a compulsory course for majors in musicology and music performance. Based on the overall design of the course, it is also suitable for vocal music majors and vocal music enthusiasts. Each lesson is enriched and well-structured through the use of various innovative teaching aids and meticulous planning, making the "intangible" vocal music class interesting, systematic, and more accessible to students.

This course primarily focuses on the functional training of the human body as a "special instrument," utilizing interdisciplinary knowledge (such as physics and sports) to enable students to grasp vocal music art from multiple dimensions. Under the new liberal arts concept, it forms a template for scientific vocal training through six modules, aiming to achieve muscular balance in singing style transitions across different genres, including pop, bel canto, and folk music. The course incorporates animations to assist teaching and enhance students' training in image thinking.

The basic vocal performance course developed by our team is designed to progress from easy to difficult, from shallow to deep, with seamless connections between each section. The entire course is well-structured with a comprehensive knowledge system and complete teaching videos, suitable for self-study by students or blended learning adopted by teachers, aligning with modern teaching philosophies. In a user-friendly and simplified manner, it imparts fundamental vocal performance techniques and basic vocal theories, addressing many common issues in vocal music. Through the study, students can initially grasp basic vocal theories, acquire a basic understanding of scientific vocal production methods, comprehend the organs vocal organs used in singing, master correct singing postures, vocal production, resonance, articulation, and enhance their aesthetic abilities and cultivation in vocal music art. Furthermore, they will learn to correctly interpret the content and style of vocal music works, develop the ability to analyze and process songs, and acquire the capability to perform songs with varying stylistic characteristics. Through the study of red songs in a broad sense, students can gain a deeper understanding of China's traditional culture and develop a stronger love for our motherland.
