Overview

本课程预计于2024年春季学期开始讲授,学生主要为非英语专业及英语专业本科生。本课程旨在通过文化类在线课的趣味性和在线课碎片化学习模式提高我校学生英语学习的积极性和学习效率,希望帮助本校学生走出英语学习中动力不足、效率低下的困境。课程专注中国传统文化和中华文明与时代发展,在线课内容从多个领域反映正确的意识形态、时代精神,话题涵盖中国传统文化的多个领域,从经济、科技、政治、社会、历史多个维度了解中国文化,并配套视频设计了知识性和理解性的习题,使学生在学习语言知识同时潜移默化中完成对学生思想的塑造,使他们坚定理想信念,从而发挥大学英语课程隐性思想政治教育阵地的作用。该课程为适合我校本科生的英语基础,将在材料选择上适当调整难度,为今后作为大学英语课程配套的在线课使用,开展混合式教学做好准备。
