In this course, we will cover how to sculpt Stylized Rocks and Trees inside ZBrush. We will cover the best brushes, alphas, and techniques to use for best results when it comes to stylized nature.
Being able to quickly create environment assets is an important skill for any digital artist, but especially in games and animation to help complete a stylized, completed project. In this course, Stylized Forest Sculpting in Zbrush, you'll learn how to Sculpt stylized rocks, trees, and organic natural props for video game development and animation. First, you'll explore the blackout technique inside 3ds Max to formulate the base of what your piece will look like. Then, you'll sculpt the landscape assets, such as a cliff face, large rocks, and a large tree. Next, you'll continue drilling into details by creating stylized grass and tree foliage to populate the top of your piece. Lastly, you'll polish up our hero tree by sculpting bark and the root structure, thus creating several unique game assets as well as a finished art piece.
