In this course, you’ll consolidate your learning into action using a number of troubleshooting approaches. You’ll learn about troubleshooting issues relating to both hardware and software, as well as system-related issues across multiple operating systems. You’ll examine diagnostic tools to combat networking issues as well as system performance. Your skills are then showcased in the capstone project, where you will engage with a real-world scenario. You'll be provided with multiple diagnostic outputs and will be tasked with identifying the issue and recommending a solution. You'll also be required to document and communicate the troubleshooting process and outcome.
After completing this course, you’ll be able to:

- Introduction to troubleshooting methodologies
- In this module, you'll be introduced to the concept and importance of troubleshooting, problem-solving strategies and models, and the common hardware issues that may arise in a computer system.
- Troubleshooting operating systems
- In this module, you'll explore various software issues, and tools for troubleshooting across different operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and macOS. You'll also learn how to troubleshoot system-related and cross-platform issues.
- Advanced troubleshooting techniques
- In this module, you'll l be equipped with advanced troubleshooting techniques and skills for resolving complex and uncommon issues. You'll also learn how to use diagnostic tools and utilities, troubleshoot networking scenarios, and deal with various other issues and their resolutions.
- Final capstone project and assessment: Technical troubleshooting diagnostics
- In this module, you'll be given the opportunity to apply your troubleshooting knowledge and skills to a realistic and complex problem. You'll be provided with multiple diagnostic outputs and will be tasked with identifying the issue and recommending a solution. You'll also be required to document and communicate the troubleshooting process and outcome.
