Through a series of hands-on activities, you will apply genAI best practices while using IBM’s watsonx AI engine to brainstorm ways to leverage this powerful tool in your organization. You will then construct a potential use case yourself. You will:
Write effective prompts :
Develop a business goal to address your pain points
Choose an appropriate genAI application suited to your goal
Critically examine your use case feasibility by considering common risks and reflecting on ways to mitigate them.
Throughout the course, you will draw on your own industry expertise and leverage that knowledge to refine your ideas for your organization with genAI assistance.
To get the most from this course, we recommend you take the first 2 courses in the Generative AI for Executives and Business Leaders specialization as well. You should also be familiar with basic AI terminology and common AI business concepts. (1194 chars) undergraduates interested in engineering or science, along with high school students and professionals with an interest in programming.

- Develop an AI Use Case for Your Organization
- In this course, you will write and assess the feasibility of AI use cases in conjunction with using generative AI as a brainstorming AI tool. By the end, you will have a plausible use case applicable to your business context, which you can feel confident discussing with your colleagues. In the hands-on labs, you utilize your expertise alongside AI to develop this use case. In these lessons, you will learn to write effective prompts, ensuring your AI tools provide relevant information. You will brainstorm potential use cases for implementing AI in your organization. The course materials will guide you to refine those use cases and analyze their use case cost-benefit.
