Materials Required:Â
- Ingredients:
- 3 cups Bread Flour (for crisp crust) or All-Purpose Flour (for softer crust)Â (For Gluten-Free participants, please use gluten-free flour)
- 1/2 cup semolina flour or bread or all-purpose flour
- 2 packets of active dry yeast or 1 Packet of Instant Yeast
- 1 1/4 cups Olive Oil
- 1 14 oz. can San Marzano tomatoes or any 14 oz. crushed tomatoes
- 2 heads of garlic
- Salt
- Cheese of your choice (shredded or fresh mozzarella, Parmesan, soy, etc.)
- Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, sausage, artichokes, olives, etc.)
- Tools:
- Bowl and wooden spoon or stand mixer with hook attachment
- Blender, hand blender, or food processor (or chef's knife and cutting board)
- Pizza stone or cookie sheet
- Chef's knife and cutting board
- Metal spatula and tongs or pizza peel
- Small saucepan
