Structural Mechanics

Northwestern Polytechnical University via XuetangX

Overview

Structural mechanics is the important fundamental course for undergraduates of Civil Engineering. It is connected by basic courses such as Calculus, Theoretical Mechanics, and Material Mechanics, followed by professional courses such as Concrete Structure Design and Steel Structure Design and so on. It has characteristics of both basic theory and engineering application, and it is the expertise needed for the relevant jobs in the future.

The course is composed of 8 chapters, and more than 100 amazing videos which are carefully and meticulously created are presented for you. Each video is averagely 6 minutes, which is easy for you to learn during pockets of time. The speed is 100 English words/min, which is proper for undergraduates of all levels.

Most of the examples and questions in this course are selected from "Structural Mechanics" (Bao Shihua, Gong Yaoqing). The pictures and audios cited in the course are from internet and are for teaching purposes only.
