结构力学是土木工程、水利工程等专业的一门主要专业基础课,本课程采用全英文授课。通过学习结构力学,掌握平面杆件结构分析计算的基本概念、基本原理和基本方法,了解各类结构的受力性能,为学习有关专业课程以及进行结构设计和科学研究打好力学基础,培养结构分析与计算等方面的能力。本课程强调分析能力、计算能力、自学能力的培养。本课程分为静定结构力学和超静定结构力学两部分。
静定结构力学部分共计32学时,学习时间为8周。本部分包括结构的几何构造分析、静定结构的受力分析、虚功原理与结构位移计算等章节,通过学习,了解各类静定结构的受力性能及位移计算方法,为学习超静定结构力学打好基础。       超静定结构力学部分共计32学时,学习时间为8周。本部分通过力法、位移法、渐近法等章节的学习,为后续有关专业课程学习以及进行结构设计和科学研究打好力学基础。
