Chang’an University via XuetangX

Overview

Chang'an University actively promotes the reform of international talent training mode. In the practice of international exchange and international foreign-related talent training, taking full account of the development status and trend of civil engineering industry at home and abroad, in accordance with the basic concept of "international consensus, China's national conditions, growing up spirit and professional characteristics", it cultivates a large number of talents with "international vision, humanistic spirit, professional ability, management ability and social responsibilities" international talents. This course systematically discusses the technical performance and technical requirements of road engineering materials, comprehensively describes the design, test and evaluation methods, and deeply analyzes the performance influencing factors, mainly including six chapters of stone and aggregate, inorganic binder, organic binder, cement concrete, asphalt mixture, etc. The course integrates cutting-edge science and engineering practice into the classroom, strengthens practical teaching to exercise ability, expands scientific and technological innovation to develop thinking, completes teaching system, keeps pace with the times in teaching content, complements theory and practices teaching.

This course will lay an international foundation for the follow-up core course learning and future engineering application and material research and development. In terms of knowledge system, students will rely on the road engineering materials training program of international famous universities to master the most advanced performance principles, technical characteristics and application methods of road materials in the world. In terms of professional ability, it can be seamlessly connected with international road material composition analysis, application design and professional specifications. It has the ability to solve complex engineering problems and cross-cultural communication and a certain sense of innovation and international vision. In the aspect of sentiment cultivation, students should have a deep understanding of the important role of material science and technology progress in highway transportation, and establish a sense of pride, mission and urgency for a strong transportation country.
