From the perspective of management consultants, this course helps enterprises recognize the various contradictions and operating law in their development through introducing external management wisdom. Also, this course can guide enterprises to effectively identify and systematically solve various endogenous and exogenous problems encountered in their development so that the enterprises can take solutions of “prevention-warning-identification-treatment” at different stages. By doing so, it is expected that this course help enterprises reach different goals such as prevention, correction or upgrade, so that they can achieve sustainable and healthy development.


This course starts from two dimensions: time and consulting market. On the dimension of time, this course traces back the historical path, analyzes the modern characteristics, and forecasts the future development of management consulting. On the other dimension of consulting market, this course introduces the process, steps and methods of management consulting from the perspective of demand and supply of management consulting, that is, how to carry out the diagnosis according to the "investigation-analysis-judgment" paradigm, and then design, recommend and implement the solution. In addition, this course also discusses the continuing issues of management consulting in conjunction with changes in technology and cultural environment, and progress in management theory.


This course is application-oriented, integrating many knowledge and methods of management professional courses. Also, this course is interspersed with a large number of vivid and real consulting cases, which is simple, easy to learn, and practical. This course is suitable for online study of senior management students and MBA students, and those engaged in management consulting, training and practices.
