Overview

With English as the carrier, the professional English is used to systematically introduce the basic theory of international trade and the operating rules and international practices of the various aspects of international trade, so that learners can learn and master the basic meaning and applicable scope of various international trade terms, the specific process of import and export , the basic theory of international trade, international trade documents, international settlement, international transport, international insurance and trade forms.

The course uses English as a carrier to systematically introduce the basic theory of international trade and the operating rules and international practices , allowing learners to master the basic meaning and application of trade terms in the context of international business English, the basic aspects of import and export trade, as well as the basic legal rules and common practices of international trade, understand the business processes and the basic forms of international trade, and have the skills required to engage in business such as import and export trade negotiation, contract signing and performance in English.

Trade Practice English course is professional, practical, policy-oriented and operational in nature. The course is organized with video and non-video resources centered on knowledge points with comprehensive coverage. The teaching content adopts a project-based model, and the projects and tasks that need to be carried out to complete the learning areas are designed according to the main points of international trade. There are several sub-chapters under the twelve major ones. The main topics are import and export documents and processes, basic theories, trade barriers, terms of commodity, trade terms, international transportation, transportation insurance, international payments, international trade forms and other related knowledge.

The course is designed to be task-driven, student-centered, and results-oriented. The instructor sets the instructional objectives, presents learning tasks around the objectives, and teaches with the learning tasks as the core. Each chapter of the course is interspersed with specific group learning tasks, and students are mobilized to implement team learning according to assessment requirements. In addition, according to the students' cognitive and learning habits, the knowledge is explained step by step, and at the same time, questions are raised to keep the students thinking while watching. The platform has a "discussion forum" and "live interactive Q&A", so that students can communicate with the teacher "from a distance", intervene in the learning process, and become active learners.

Through the study, students can master the basic knowledge of international trade practice, such as the international trade documents, the international trade contracts and related international trade law practices, etc., and at the same time students can be trained with foreign trade-related vocational skills, to lay the foundation for them to work and pass vocational qualification examinations in the future.
