Glamorous Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture（魅力中药）

The course is set for the newly-enrolled students of TCM and relevant majors ,starts from the basic knowledge of Chinese Materia Medica. Its designed contents focus on stimulating students' learning interest. Basic knowledges of 40 kinds of common Chinese herbal medicines are introduced, including the TCM sources, collection, naming, processing, storage, compatibility, compounding, etc. in combination with the stories of Chinese traditional culture, and the folk customs of four famous traditional festivals of China and medicine culture are expanded to cleverly integrate Chinese traditional culture and Chinese herbal medicines knowledge so that students can recognize, understand and receive TCM in the easy and interesting atmosphere, motivate their interests in TCM and increase their understanding in TCM knowledge, promoting the international communication and exchange of TCM culture. Since opening, the course has been welcomed and highly praised by college students, and has been generalized to the young people as the introduction readings of  TCM culture.
