Welcome to A Glimpse of China! Taking English as its medium and Chinese civilization as its content, this course consists of 6 selected Chinese cultural themes, varying from the traditional Chinese philosophy, Chinese classical and modern literature, customs and etiquette, Chinese traditional architecture, traditional festivals and food culture, Chinese characters, traditional Chinese medicine to Chinese Kongfu. In addition, this course includes a special introduction on the Silk Road and on the local culture of Si Chuan (Ba Shu Culture). This course aims at providing students with a deeper knowledge of Chinese culture, thus enabling them to better understand China.
