ABOUT THE COURSE:One of the real challenges to read and understand biology by non-biologists is its language. Biology text books as well as traditional class room teaching frequently refer to specialized terms, which deters students and scientists of different background from understanding the key concepts and the underlying principles of biology. This lecture series will highlight the overall mechanisms of complex biological systems in a simplistic manner that will not require any previous knowledge of biology. Although this course is designed for non-biologist, students of biological sciences will also benefit from a fresh perspective of important biological conceptsINTENDED AUDIENCE: UG/PGPREREQUISITES: This course is designed for first year undergraduate students. The prerequisite for this course is science at 10+2 level.INDUSTRY SUPPORT: Bioscience and Biotech companies.
