This online course has been designed to help students to get a basic understanding about the field of psychology. The online mode of this course will allow interested students to learn about psychology at their own pace and as per their convenience. The course will make use of videos, simple activities, case studies and discussions so that students are able to relate to this field and will develop the interest to explore this field further.Objectives of this course are:1.This course provides a basic introduction to the development of the discipline both from the Indian as well as western perspective.2.Review the development of psychological thought and introduce the issues and debates in contemporary psychology.
