I dont know how I wanted to just throw caution to the wind and start a business without this information. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is thinking of starting a business. It is easy to understand and touches on things that one would not normally consider like what abilities other members of your team will bring and how all will gel together to move forward.

I now know who to recruit and how networking is very important (both formal and informal). Thank you FutureLearn and University of Leeds for making this possible. I cannot wait to venture into the next class for more knowledge on how to start a business.

The courses provided by Leeds University are very focused, easy to understand and challenging in the tasks they set you to do. Don't think that these courses are an easy option, you have to work for yourself and be prepared to do the research, but at the end of it you can be confident that you have learned something useful.

I would recommend this course to anyone starting up a new business or anyone with plans to. Before today I simply recruited workers based on competence. I now know I must consider workers Am recruiting based on what role they can play in my team. Secondly, I have learnt that I need to refine my business network.

This is a good course if you want to start a business. I am learning so much. Although the course is supposed to take 2 hours a week I want to really take my time in learning all I can and applying it so it is taking 4-6 hours a week. I am happy with my progress in being able to start my business.

I enjoyed the class. I now have a basic understanding of building a team for my new business. Even though I am nowhere near ready to launch my business, I have a blueprint and outline to follow. Naturally, the assignments were a little more involved than the assignments in the first course.
