Game content creation is amongst the most common jobs for freelancers. Mobile games are currently on the rise as well as web games. Such game content requires a different approach to current next generation content due to hardware limitations. Throughout these lessons, we'll learn how to create and hand paint a low polygon island environment complete with props and ready to be played. We will also create a simple walkthrough using the Blender Game Engine (BGE) to showcase the created game content. By the end of the lesson, you will have improved your ability to animate efficiently in the gaming environment. Software required: Blender 2.74, GIMP 2.8.
