Overview

Employee burnout is a global concern. The enduring effect of stress can have detrimental impacts on our home lives and job performance. The need for practical ways to address stress and improve our personal wellness is evident.

In a survey by Deloitte, 77% of respondents say they have experienced burnout at their current job. 91% say that unmanageable stress or frustration impacts the quality of their work, and 83% say burnout can negatively impact personal relationships.

This one-week course guides learners through evidence-based scientific research on improving wellbeing by reducing stress levels and increasing resilience. You will find several techniques to identify what stressors are affecting you and how to successfully address them.

Through a series of activities and prompts, you will reflect on what wellness means to you and how to cultivate a personal response process and routine that best addresses the stressors in your life.

If you’re interested in a deeper dive on wellness and happiness, consider our five-week course, Pathways to Happiness.
