Overview

This course is your gateway to mastering Android game development with Unity 2022. You'll start by learning how to set up Unity and develop a basic understanding of the platform. From there, you will dive into building a simple yet engaging 3D endless runner game, learning how to create game levels, control player movement, and handle game mechanics such as platform spawning and object destruction. Next, the course takes you on an exciting journey to develop a 3D zigzag game, guiding you through advanced mechanics like player control via touch input, spawning platforms with random algorithms, and setting up dynamic in-game events such as camera movement and particle effects. You will also create a polished user interface, including score tracking, game over screens, and animations that give your game a professional touch. The final section will teach you how to build, optimize, and publish your games on the Android platform. In addition to coding and game mechanics, you’ll also learn to create your own game art assets from scratch using Inkscape. The course covers everything from sprite design for games to exporting assets for use in Unity. By the end, you’ll have hands-on experience building and publishing multiple Android games, and be equipped with the knowledge needed to start your own game development projects. This course is designed for beginners in game development who are familiar with basic programming concepts. No prior experience with Unity or game development is required, but basic knowledge of C# will be helpful.

    • In this module, we will guide you through the process of downloading, installing, and setting up Unity 2022. You'll gain a clear understanding of the system requirements and how to configure Unity for your first project.
  • Create A Simple 3D Endless Runner with Unity 2022
    • In this module, we will create a simple 3D endless runner game in Unity 2022. You will learn how to develop core game mechanics, integrate them into your project, and perform initial testing.
  • Let's Create A 3D Zigzag Game
    • In this module, we will build a 3D Zigzag game from the ground up. You will set up the game environment, control the ball, and implement various game mechanics including platform spawning, diamond collection, and user interface management.
  • Build a Simple 2D Android Game in One Hour
    • In this module, we will create a simple 2D Android game within an hour. You will learn quick game development techniques, from design to deployment, ensuring a functional game ready for Android devices.
  • Create Game Art Assets from Scratch
    • In this module, we will explore game art creation using Inkscape. You will design sprites and other game assets, gaining the skills to create and export custom art for your games.
  • Let's Create Tappy Ball Game
    • In this module, we will develop a Tappy Ball game, focusing on mechanics, scoring, and user interface design. You will also learn to create a game manager for comprehensive game control and finalize the game with final tweaks and polish.
  • Build a Touch Ball Shoot Android Game with Unity
    • In this module, we will build a touch ball shoot game from start to finish within 40 minutes. You will design the game, implement touch controls, and learn the steps to publish it on the Android platform.
