Enlisting a Volunteer Army Join Kotter and take the first steps along your learning journey into the Science of Change, beginning with our understanding of human nature and our response to threats and opportunities and the limitations of traditional organizational structures. Based on 50 years of empirical research into the Science of Change and our latest insights from our firm’s consulting work, Kotter is making change leadership more accessible than ever before with four new courses introducing learners to our methodologies and tools for successful organizational transformations.

Syllabus

  • Change Accelerators: 1 + 2
    • This module introduces the foundational elements of Kotter’s change model, focusing on creating a sense of urgency and building a guiding coalition. You will learn why these initial steps are crucial and how to effectively implement them within your organization.
  • Change Accelerators: 3 + 4
    • In this module, you will explore the next steps in Kotter’s model: forming a strategic vision and enlisting a volunteer army. These accelerators are designed to harness the power of vision and motivate a broad base of support to drive the change effort forward.
  • Accelerators 1-4 Overview and Exam
    • This module provides a comprehensive overview of the first four Accelerators and includes an exam to assess your understanding and ability to apply these principles. It reinforces the connections between these accelerators and their collective impact on successful change leadership.
