This is the second of three courses in the ACE Intro to Personal Training specialization which is a comprehensive course designed to equip aspiring personal trainers with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in the fitness industry. - Module 1: Foundations of Exercise and Nutrition
- In this module, topics covered include the health benefits of regular physical activity, general exercise guidelines, physiological adaptations resulting from muscular and cardiorespiratory training, basic nutrition guidelines, and tips for reading and interpreting nutrition labels.
- Module 2: Programming Basics
- This module includes the ACE Mover Method™, the ACE Integrated Fitness Training® Model, five primary movement patterns and their associated anatomy, and how to demonstrate and safely cue common exercise.
