Prerequisite: KINACT-28A. This course is designed for intermediate students to advance their yoga skills through breathing exercises, alignment of physical postures and advanced forms of relaxation techniques to improve health and fitness of the mind and body. The goal of the course is to advance flexibility, muscle strength, endurance and coordination through the challenge of intermediate physical postures such as inversions, arm balances, twists and wraps. Intermediate levels of meditation will be incorporated for stress reduction and mental calm. Transfer: CSU; UC credit limitations
