Other: Student should possess beginning level knowledge of 2D drafting methods and familiarity with the typical drawings used to present Interior Design, Architecture, or Engineering projects. Computer-aided drafting & design using the professional software, AutoCAD, Revit, and Chief Architect. Other software may be introduced. This course focuses on 3D and BIM software programs typically used in the Interior Design industry. Students will learn the basic skills needed for 3D modeling, digital rendering, and the production of 2D floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, lighting plans, and perspective views for client presentations.
