Examination of the relationships among dominant and minority groups and related concepts and theories: Review of the immigration of Northwestern Europeans, Southeastern Europeans, Asians, and North and South Americans, and resultant social patterns reflecting their acculturation and structural assimilation. Those experiences uinque to African Americans, women, and religious groups are also included.
