In this experiment, various learning resources are prepared to enhance the student’s capability in process design of mechanical products. Through the enterprise’s processing videos of automotive steering knuckle, students are able to learn about its structure and processing sequence, and also to acquire the design basis and blank manufacturing method of the parts by the interpretation of the CAD drawing. Meanwhile, simulation tools are also provided to help them to understand the impact of different process parameters on production efficiency and costs.
Through this experiment, students will be able to comprehensively use the knowledge they have learned to analyze and solve complex problems, and cultivate their teamwork, communication, and economic decision-making abilities on engineering problems.
