Overview

This course will start with ancient Chinese music, and follow the sequence of time to introduce the typical forms, aesthetic characteristics and historical influence of traditional Chinese music culture in different periods. 

The course combines unearthed cultural relics and historical records, to review China's extensive and profound musical history, and we invite some professionals to perform live interpretations of some related instrumental, vocal, dance and opera works.
