Overview

This course, Organic Chemistry Lab, will introduce students to the techniques in organic chemistry lab work. The main contents include standard reactions and techniques, such as Fischer esterification, aldol condensation, Grignard synthesis, and basic experiments designed to teach recrystallization, extraction, and distillation. 

Organic Chemistry Lab I is the first part of the course, which mainly introduces the basic techniques for running chemical reactions, and also includes several examples of basic reactions.
