Basic Chemistry

Rizhao Polytechnic via XuetangX

Overview

Through the analysis of professional ability of food inspection posts, the traditional subject system content is deconstructed, and a systematic modular curriculum system is constructed. Seven modules are designed, including chemical foundation, basic operation of titrimetric analysis, acid-base titration technology, redox titration technology, precipitation titration technology, coordination titration technology, and organic chemistry foundation. Each module has several tasks based on the introduction of relevant theoretical knowledge. The total class hour of the course is 84.

The selection and organization of teaching content focuses on the cultivation of professional ability, lays emphasis on the students' basic knowledge of chemistry, and cultivates the students' ability to use basic chemical instruments and basic chemical operations in a standardized and skillful manner. At the same time, the food inspection management 1+X certificate and the basic operation items of the national agricultural product quality and safety test were introduced into the course content.

Fragmentation of the course content, sorting out all the knowledge points and skill points of the course, and self-developed and designed the course resources covering all the knowledge points and skill points of the course, which can not only meet the learners' independent learning needs, but also assist teachers in teaching. For the knowledge points and skill points of each task, we have developed teaching resources such as course introduction, teaching videos, presentations, electronic textbooks, operation videos, etc. The ideological and political sections of three courses, namely, the story of chemists, philosophical thinking in chemistry and life perception in chemistry, are designed, and the professional courses and ideological and political education are organically integrated through the ideological and political microlecture.
