Interchangeability and Measurement Technology

Chang’an University via XuetangX

Overview

"Interchangeability and Measurement Technology" is one of the main technical basic courses required for mechanical instrumentation and electromechanical majors in colleges and universities. It is also a basic subject closely related to the development of the machinery industry. With the support of International Education School of Chang 'an University, we try to compile online course on interchangeability and measurement technology.

The online course strengthens the cultivation of basic concepts, basic theories, basic methods and basic skills according to the characteristics of fewer teaching hours, and compiles the contents of each chapter according to the latest national and international standards.

Its contents include basic terms and definitions of interchangeability and preferred number, size tolerance and fit, geometric tolerance and surface roughness, marking of drawings and selection of tolerance. The content of the course emphasizes the presentation of basic knowledge, and strictly follows the latest national and international standards. The course content adopts the new standards issued in 2020, emphasizing the comparison between international standards and national standards, so that students can gradually adapt to the new requirements of the mechanical manufacturing industry.

Striving to have as little knowledge as possible and be precise, making it easy for students to self-study. In addition, the course highlights the scientific, systematic, and practical nature of basic knowledge and theory, strengthens the cultivation of students' comprehensive abilities, and enables them to lay a solid theoretical foundation while mastering the ability to solve practical problems.

The purpose of online course is to help the students master the basic knowledge of interchangeability and measurement technology through the learning of English content, so as to lay a foundation for international communication in this field. In addition, this course is applicable to the teaching of mechanical and instrument courses in colleges and universities. It can be used as a reference for bilingual teaching and English teaching, as well as a reference for mechanical engineering technicians.
