本课程精选“十二五”普通高校本科国家级规划教材的阅读篇章,对每篇文章进行宏观和微观层面的细致梳理,通过课文简介、背景知识、课文解析(词汇详解、难句分析)、语法重点、修辞赏析、写作指南、单元小结、补充拓展几大版块,帮助学习者掌握英语文章的篇章结构、词汇语法和文化背景。单个课程视频时长约5-15分钟,配套习题少而精。
SPOC+翻转课堂的混合式教学在校内已经运行4个学期,学生为国际关系学院二年级全体学生(含英语专业和非英语专业),2014级520人,2015级552人。在课程运行期间做过4次跟踪问卷,学生对于课程的反馈包括主观评价,如对慕课内容的认可度较高,反馈中出现的高频词汇包括:“有趣”、“有用”、“有效率”、“干货多”、“收获大”、“实用”、“有系统”、“丰富”、“开阔视野,提高能力”,“精华”等等;课程优势在于集中优化教学资源,丰富教学内容,多角度多模式呈现英语经典篇章的魅力。
考核机制:除视频学习外,课程视频后的测试题和期末考试分别占比60%、40%,满分100,60分合格,85分优秀。
