This course is composed four modules, six chapters.
The first module includes chapter 1-3, focusing on exploring financial reform and the internationalization of RMB. By reviewing the evolution of RMB exchange rate regime reforms, analyzing the pricing mechanism of RMB exchange rate and discussing related issues of RMB exchange rate fluctuations, this part comprehensively illustrates the ideas, motivators, and impacts of RMB exchange rate regime reforms.
The second module covers the fourth chapter, which presents the overview and evolution of China's financial system and helps students understand the composition, operation and problems of domestic financial system.
The third module covers Chapter 5, which introduces international settlement businesses and practices, helping students master the operation and business processing of international financial business of commercial banks. Through comparative analysis of international settlement systems, this part helps students understand the current cross-border settlement mechanisms of major international currencies and understand the necessity of establishing a RMB cross-border settlement system.
The fourth part is Chapter 6, which focuses on introducing the practice of document writing in international financial business and improving students' communication and exchange skills in international financial business.
