“Engineering geology” is a professional foundation course of the major of road, bridge and river-crossing engineering, which systematically introduces the basics and principles of highway engineering geology, and describes the various engineering geological conditions, problems and the analysis method. This online teaching covers key contents including geological properties of rock and soil, geological processes, geological structures, landforms, groundwater, and adverse geological phenomena in highway engineering. Through the course, students can master theoretical knowledge related to engineering geology and learn to collect, analyze and apply relevant geological data to evaluate general engineering geological problems.
