Overview

Hello everyone. Crops lay a foundation for human daily consumption of food and clothes, and crop cultivation science has made outstanding contributions to national food security. “Crop Cultivation” is a course focusing on the growth and development of crops, the formation of yield and quality, and their relationship with environmental conditions. On this basis, appropriate cultivation and management are utilized for achieving the aims of a high yield, stable yield, high quality, and high efficiency, ecologically friendly, and food security. The content of this video course is divided into two parts: general theory and individual theory of major crops, with a total of ten chapters. The general theory is divided into 5 chapters to introduce the theory of crop growth and development, the formation of crops yields and quality, environmental conditions and management measures and their interactions. The monographs of major crops mainly focus on the current statutes of crops production, biological characteristics, the yield and quality-enhancing technology, and the management techniques of major crops, such as rice, wheat, corn, potato, and rapeseed. This course is based on the theoretical basis of crop cultivation, strengthen the applications in field management, and highlights the latest scientific research results of our discipline. The course trains students to learn about crop cultivation, love cultivation, and devote themselves to the field management, which will formulate a solid knowledge structure and practical foundation of field management. "Crop; Cultivation" is a professional course of agronomy, and also an important professional basic course for related majors such as plant protection, seed science and engineering. The contents of this course are suitable for agronomists, agricultural extension officer, employees of first-line crops manager farmers, as well as the majority of enthusiasts who study agriculture, love agriculture, and devote themselves to agriculture. Let's learn crop cultivation science together, this course will help you to lay a solid foundation, maybe, in the future, you will contribute to eradicating hunger and poverty in our world!
