Overview

“Concise Circuits” is an English MOOC, including English teaching, English dubbing and English subtitles.

This course adopts the combination of handwritten animation, flash animation, experiment and simulation, which is vivid, interesting, concise and easy to understand. It can fully stimulate learners' interest and enable learners to deeply understand and master the concept and analysis method of circuits. Among them: the handwritten animations can attract learners' concentration; the flash animations analog the circuit with beautifully made life examples, which can make learners get a sense of beauty; the experiments show bulb brightness change and oscilloscope waveforms, which are intuitive and interesting; the simulations demonstrate each step of operation, which is convenient for learners to directly imitate.

The course of “Concise Circuits” includes six chapters including (1) Fundamentals of circuits, (2) Dynamic circuits, (3) AC circuits, (4) General analysis techniques for circuits, (5) Extensions of circuit knowledge, and (6) Applications of circuit knowledge. The six chapters with the characteristics of from easy to difficult, progressive layers, clear logic can enable learners to systematically grasp the concepts and analysis methods of circuits.

In addition to video resources, there is a document for each section. The documents not only contain all the contents in the video, but also expands and deepens some contents furtherly. They are valuable resources for learners.

The course of “Concise Circuits” is a fundamental course for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), so learning this course will lay a solid foundation for learners to learn the follow-up courses related to electricity.
