This course is a required backbone professional basic course for architecture and related majors. It forms a building technology scientific system together with courses such as building structure and green building technology. It is the theoretical basis for building energy conservation, ecological building design and green building evaluation. Its basic Principles, design strategies and technical measures penetrate into urban planning and design, building group layout, building space design, building material selection, building structure design, building construction technology and management, and run through the entire process of construction. The course includes three parts: building thermal engineering, building optics and building acoustics. It focuses on the basic knowledge and basic principles of building physics, the explanation of design principles and technical measures, and developing the ability to analyze professional problems with basic principles and basic knowledge of architectural physics.
