Overview

      本课程围绕英语辩论的方法、技巧以及社会各领域热点话题的思辨分析等内容,在学生已具备一定的大学英语听说能力的基础上,进一步提升其英语语言表达能力,培养其缜密的逻辑和独立思考的批判思维,开拓其国际化的视野和知识体系。课程由16个单元构成, 所讲授内容涵盖了英语辩论的基本知识、基础技能、常见技巧以及相关的信息收集能力、评判标准等,课程体系完善、衔接连贯,能够为英语辩论爱好者提供一个从零基础开始学习辩论的详细教程。 

       此外,课程师资团队实力雄厚,教学能力强。 课程负责人王珺珺讲授《英语演讲与辩论》课程8年,在校内开设《思辨英语》公选课,常年担任湖北大学英语辩论队指导老师,多次指导学生荣获国家级、省级英语辩论赛奖项;主持省厅级项目“英语类MOOC课程有效性研究”和校级教研项目“英语思辨能力培养”等,将开放性课程及思辨能力培养的教学理论与实践充分结合。团队成员均具备海外名校(包括牛津大学、新加坡南洋理工、美国威斯康星大学等)留学背景,辩论教学经验丰富,思维活跃,视野开阔,教学能力卓越。团队成员担任中国外语演讲与辩论教学研究专业委员会常务理事、湖北省演讲协会英语专业委员会主任委员,荣获“外教社杯”全国高校外语教学大赛(综合课组)全国总冠军,担任国家级精品在线课程《英语演讲艺术》慕课负责人、湖北省精品在线课程《英语语音》慕课主讲人等。这些名师优导都将为同学们的学习保驾护航!
