《大学英文写作(下)》内容主要包括常见的内容组织形式和写作策略,其中包含描述和叙事、过程说明、比较和对比、因果分析、举例说明、分类法和定义法,重点是论说文。写作策略经常是相通的,但同时文化和思维方式的差异,让英文写作中策略的运用形成了一些特点,与中文写作不甚相同。如果了解和把握这些特点,就能够有效运用写作策略。英文写作说到底是一门实践课。因此,本课程强调实践,希望应用过程写作法组织知识点,分析点评学生范文,强调为学生提供边学边练的机会。


本课程分12单元,每单元包含若干微视频、课堂讨论平台及配套练习,方便学生复习和预习课程内容。课程结束时,学员能够基本掌握一般写作策略,能够完成西方高校英文写作课程、人文社科课程和专业课程常见的写作任务,熟悉写作规范和写作方法,作文基本做到条理清晰,连接自然,论据充分,具有说服力。
