The aim of this course is to learn about the role of energy in promoting economic activity and to understand the main debates using economic methods to evaluate energy projects and policies, future alternative energy options and possibilities in English.This course will examine the use of fossil fuels (coal, oil and gas), renewable energy and nuclear energy, as well as energy efficiency and conservation. In addition, topics such as the environmental impact of energy use, including climate change, and the role of energy in economic development will be explored.
